ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Pressure Calibration
Accurate pressure measurement is essential to safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Our national network of local calibration experts delivers the precision you require, from supporting process control to protecting equipment and reducing costly operational risks.
Our Pressure Calibration Services
Pressure instruments support critical applications across chemical processing, power generation, HVAC, hydraulics, manufacturing, medical devices, and more.
When they drift out of specification, the results can be serious—process instability, safety hazards, equipment failures, and production downtime. The Accredited Labs network provides comprehensive pressure calibration services that keep your instruments performing within their required accuracy ranges.
Our Process
Pressure calibration involves verifying and adjusting instruments that measure gauge, absolute, differential, and vacuum pressure across defined operating ranges. Each device is compared to certified reference pressure standards with known, traceable values to identify any deviations from its intended performance.
Experienced technicians test instruments using precisely controlled pressure sources throughout the full measurement range, document all variations, and may make the adjustments required to restore accuracy. If an instrument cannot be restored to the required accuracy range, you receive detailed reporting with the data needed for corrective action, maintenance planning, or replacement decisions.
All pressure calibrations follow internationally recognized standards that support consistency, reliability, and complete measurement traceability. Each instrument is returned with documentation linking its accuracy to national pressure measurement standards—meeting the needs of quality management systems, safety regulations, and process control requirements.
Types of Pressure Measuring Instruments We Calibrate
Our comprehensive pressure calibration services cover the complete spectrum of pressure measuring technologies used across industries:
- Digital Pressure Gauges: Electronic instruments that provide precise digital pressure readings with data logging and communication capabilities. These instruments require calibration of pressure sensors, signal processing electronics, and display systems to ensure accurate measurements across their full range.
- Analog Pressure Gauges: Traditional mechanical gauges including Bourdon tube, diaphragm, and bellows-type instruments. Calibration ensures accurate pointer indication, scale linearity, and mechanical stability across the measurement range and various environmental conditions.
- Pressure Transmitters: Industrial instruments that convert pressure measurements into standardized electrical signals for process control systems. Calibration verifies both pressure measurement accuracy and signal output characteristics across the full measurement and output ranges.
- Differential Pressure Instruments: Specialized instruments that measure pressure differences between two points, commonly used for flow measurement, filter monitoring, and level detection. These instruments require calibration of both pressure inputs and differential measurement accuracy.
- Absolute Pressure Gauges: Instruments that measure pressure relative to perfect vacuum, used in vacuum applications, barometric measurements, and applications requiring absolute pressure references. Calibration ensures accurate absolute pressure measurement across atmospheric and sub-atmospheric conditions.
- Vacuum Gauges: Specialized instruments for measuring sub-atmospheric pressures in vacuum systems, processing equipment, and scientific applications. These instruments require specialized calibration procedures and vacuum reference standards.
- Pressure Switches: Devices that provide electrical switching based on pressure setpoints, used for safety systems, process control, and equipment protection. Calibration verifies switching accuracy, repeatability, and deadband characteristics.
- Pressure Transducers: Sensors that convert pressure measurements into electrical signals for data acquisition and control systems. Calibration ensures accurate pressure-to-signal conversion and long-term stability.
- Manometers: Liquid column instruments used for precise pressure measurements and as working standards. These instruments require calibration of scale accuracy, liquid properties, and environmental corrections.
- Pressure Calibrators: Instruments used to calibrate other pressure devices require regular calibration themselves to maintain their accuracy and traceability as reference standards.
