Joe Moser

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Joe Moser leads Accredited Labs with a vision of excellence and innovation, bringing over 20 years of diverse industry experience. He has held key leadership roles at Continental Battery Systems, TruckPro, and Stericycle. Joe also has a significant background with McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in service-based operations, growth strategy, and M&A, gaining extensive expertise in quality engineering and technical acumen. Joe's strategic insights and operational leadership skills drive Accredited Labs toward new heights in the calibration services sector. Outside of work, Joe is passionate about car racing, a hobby that fuels his competitive spirit and precision-focused mindset.

Kathleen Reilly

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Kathleen brings a wealth of experience to her role as CFO of Accredited Labs, with over 15 years of financial leadership across various industries. Prior to joining Accredited Labs, she served as CFO at NovaBone and Arcmed, where she focused on business model evolution, strategic growth, and financial integration. Kathleen has also held senior finance roles at Accudynamics and Halma, where she was instrumental in cost management, strategic capital investment, and portfolio rationalization. Her strategic financial oversight ensures robust financial health and supports our growth initiatives.

Tom McDermott

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Tom McDermott manages the operations across our network, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence. He brings over 20 years of experience in operations management, with notable roles at EverQuote and Wayfair. Tom's extensive background at McKinsey & Company, where he tackled complex operations and strategy challenges, has equipped him with unparalleled strategic and analytical skills. Additionally, Tom served as a Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy, where he was named “Junior Officer of the Year” and gained invaluable leadership experience.

Devin Powers

Controller

Devin brings approximately 10 years of accounting and finance experience in his role as Controller. Prior to Accredited Labs, he served as Director of Accounting at Retina Consultants of America, where he specialized in technical accounting, financial reporting, and financial M&A integration. Devin also gained valuable accounting experience at EY, where he provided assurance services and earned his CPA license. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and golf and cheering on Texas A&M athletics.

Joe Gunn

Director, Accredited Labs Quality System

Joe Gunn's journey with OCS began in 1999 after earning his degree in Chemical Engineering, continuing a legacy started by his great grandfather, who founded the company in 1930. Under Joe's leadership, OCS expanded its scope of accreditation from scales and balances to a wide range of disciplines. In 2010, he became an ISO 17025 Lead Assessor for LAB, later serving as chairman of their Technical Advisory Group. Over the years, Joe has conducted 180 ISO 17025 assessments across the US and Canada for LAB and ANAB, along with 400 technical reviews of accreditation assessments. Having held roles as technician, quality manager, technical manager, general manager, and President at OCS, Joe is excited to bring his extensive experience to Accredited Labs.

Matt Fritz

Director of Corporate Development

Matt Fritz oversees the inorganic growth strategy at Accredited Labs, focusing on identifying and executing opportunities that align with our mission of providing unparalleled calibration services. Prior to this role, Matt was an investment professional at Main Street Capital Corporation, where he specialized in evaluating, underwriting, and monitoring investments made by the firm. He also gained extensive M&A and due diligence experience while providing transaction advisory services at Forvis Mazars and assurance services at EY, where he earned his CPA license. In his free time, Matt enjoys skiing, hiking, and camping in the mountains.

Ohio Counting Scale (OCS) is Founded

Founded as Ohio Counting Scale, OCS Technologies started as a distributor of weighing equipment.

1960

Huston-DePue Calibration Laboratories (HDCL) is Founded

Founded by WWII Navy veteran Jay Huston and his wife Wilma as Huston Laboratories in their garage in Oklahoma City. The business provided calibration services for local industries.

Aldinger Company is Founded

Founded in Texas, initially providing calibration services for test and measurement equipment.

1974

Quality Control Services is Founded

Established to fill the need for precision calibration services and quality sales, maintaining an Echelon 1 Metrology Laboratory, a Thermometry Laboratory, and a Pipette Laboratory.

1976

Cal-Cert is Founded

Established to provide calibration and service of temperature and force instruments. At that time services were limited to Oregon and Washington. As the industry developed and the demand increased, we expanded both our coverage area and our scope of services. We began calibration of pressure and dimensional instruments as well as many specialty instruments.

Cal-Labs is Founded

Established to serve Southern California with calibration services, focusing on dimensional and mechanical calibrations

Established as a test equipment repair service company supporting the telecom industry initially, but expanding services and locations since their founding.

Cal Tech PM is Founded

Founded to provide Process Control and Quality Consulting services. Initially, the company assisted businesses in qualifying for certifications, including Automotive, Government, Nuclear, and ISO standard.

Instrument Technologies (ITI) is Founded

Founded by Phillip Custer, Instrument Technologies began offering calibration services with a strong commitment to quality and regulatory compliance across several industries.

J&J Calibration Service Inc. is Founded

Founded in Kindred North Dakota, moved to Walcott North Dakota in 2001, providing mobile calibration labs.
